Dr. Shanthi is a Subspecialist in Reproductive Medicine and obtained her FRANZCOG in 2014. Before joining ADORA Fertility & Day Surgery Centre, she worked for 9 years earlier in one of the reputed IVF clinics in Perth, WA.

Dr. Shanthi is passionate about all aspects of Subfertility such as Reproductive Endocrinology, Reproductive Surgery, Embryology, PCOD, Fibroids, Male subfertility /Azoospermia, Grade 4 Endometriosis, Recurrent pregnancy loss, Ovarian Cysts, Fibroid surgery/ keyhole surgery (advanced laparoscopy), Myomectomy, Hysteroscopy, Septoplasty, Preimplantation genetic diagnosis, and ultrasonography.

Dr. Shanthi also offers care in all aspects of Office Gynaecology, Abnormal Pap Smears, Colposcopy, Contraception, Menstrual disorder HMB, and Perimenopause/menopause.

Dr. Shanthi completed her fellowship from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2014 and continued practicing infertility in Perth from December ‘2014 onwards. Prior to this, she worked at the Royal Hobart Hospital in Tasmania to complete her fellowship requirements. Dr. Shanthi is a graduate of Kilpauk Medical College Hospital, Chennai in India and completed her advanced Obstetric and Gynaecological training M.D. (OBGYN) in 1994 from the prestigious King Edward Memorial Hospital in Mumbai, India.

Dr. Shanthi began her career as a Specialist and Lecturer at Sri Ramachandra Medical University in Chennai, India, where she worked for almost 13 years, gaining extensive experience in complex pelvic surgery, Laparoscopic surgery, high-risk obstetrics, gynaecological ultrasound, and gynaecological oncology. Shanthi was an esteemed faculty member of SRMU, where she imparted her wisdom and experience to medical students. Recognizing her deep understanding of medical field, Shanthi was invited to serve as an external examiner for MBBS, MD, and PG students.

Dr.Shanthi is also a qualified subspecialist in Reproductive Medicine and Embryology,(FNB) trained at the Institute of Reproductive Medicine & Women’s Health(Madras Medical Mission) in Chennai, India.

Dr. Shanthi has a wealth of experience in treating a wide range of women's health issues and providing thoughtful care to her patients.

Asia Pacific Initiative on Reproduction (ASPIRE) and World Laparoscopy Surgery(WLS).

Dr.Shanthi works as a consultant in a public hospital at Rockingham and Osborne Park, Perth once a week.
